Where a registration has since lapsed, it says so. An expired card presented as current would cast doubt on the ones that are not.

Registered bodybuilding judge

Brijesh Joshi is a registered judge with the Indian Body Building & Fitness Federation, holding a Category B judge card issued under the Gujarat unit. He previously held a Gujarat State Bodybuilders Association judges card for five years.

This sits alongside his role as President of the Strength Bodybuilding Association South Gujarat, which organises the championships themselves. Judging and organising are separate functions, and he has documentation for both.

Strength Bodybuilding Association South Gujarat official certificate of honour naming Shri Brijesh Joshi as judge and official at the Mr. South Gujarat championship, Bardoli, 9 February 2025 — Conferred for service as judge and official at the Mr. South Gujarat championship held at Bardoli, Surat, and signed by the association's office bearers including General Secretary Jitendra Tripathi and Treasurer Chetan Modi. Brijesh is the association's President, which is how he came to be at the officials' table in the first place.

Certificate of participation in the Foundation Course in Yoga Science for Wellness awarded to Brijesh Joshi by the Swami Vivekananda District Yoga Wellness Centre, Surat, dated 31 May 2014 — A one-month foundation course run by the district yoga wellness centre, which the Dr. Ambedkar Vanavasi Kalyan Trust manages under the aegis of the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, an autonomous body under the Ministry of AYUSH. The certificate describes the programme as introductory, which is why the site says he trained in yoga rather than that he is a certified yoga trainer. It is the training behind every session here starting with yoga rather than treating it as a separate class.

Dr Dhananjay More Fitness Solutions certificate confirming Brijesh Joshi attended an educational seminar on Anabolic Steroids on 19 February 2017 at Thane — An educational seminar on anabolic steroids, presented by Dr Dhananjay More. This is the formal training behind the steroids guide on this site, which argues against use rather than for it, and behind the steroid and supplement awareness module Brijesh teaches at G-KFTI.

Indian Institute of Clinical Hypnosis certificate of completion for Mr Brijesh S Joshi in Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching, dated 15 September 2015, registration number 20081802 — A certificate course completed in 2015, registration number 20081802. The certificate states on its face that practice under it is restricted to psychology degree-holders or medical practitioners. Brijesh is neither, so nothing hypnotherapeutic is offered at S R Gym and none is claimed here. It is recorded because it is part of his training history, not because it qualifies him to practise.

Adhik Healing Yoga certificate of participation for Brijesh Satyanarayan Joshi in a two-day traditional bone setting training camp at Pune, 22 to 23 August 2026 — A residential two-day camp in Pune, 22 to 23 August 2026, in a traditional healing practice. It is a traditional practice rather than a clinical one, and nothing from it is offered at either branch: the joint pain and return-to-training pages still send anybody with a persistent problem to a doctor or physiotherapist first.

Faculty at a fitness training institute

Brijesh Joshi is listed as faculty at the G-KFTI Fitness Training Institute, which runs certificate courses in fitness training, gym management, advance fitness training, first aid and CPR, and supplement awareness. Its head office address is the Katargam gym.

The institute's brochure lists his qualifications as a diploma in fitness training, master trainer of body building, official judge and community member, and membership of the Health and Strength Association Surat and the Strength Bodybuilding Association.

Teaching other trainers is a different signal from holding a certificate. It is also the practical answer to how a gym becomes the place other coaches in the city came through.

One credential that belongs to the building

Everything above is a document Brijesh holds personally. There is one more that is not his at all.

G-KFTI, a fitness training institute, lists its head office as “S.R.Gym, 2nd Floor, Vadinath Chowk, Nr. Akhand Anand College, Ved Road” — the Katargam branch address. A gym does not become the registered address of a certification body by accident. Courses ran off that floor, which is the ordinary way people in Surat moved from training themselves to training others.

The people who started here

Brijesh counts more than a hundred trainers and gym owners across Surat who began on one of these two floors. He is the only person who watched the whole twenty-six years, so he is the only person in a position to count, and that is his count.

There is no register of it, which is a problem for a reader rather than for the number. So the page carries both: his figure, and the ones who are named below and can be asked directly.
